ALD SPONSOR VAUGHAN'S CHARITY WALK

ALD Management Trainer, Vaughan Williams, Charity Walk

The unimaginable happened to the family of one of our trainers, Vaughan Williams, on 5th February 2007. Vaughan's 20 year old son, Arthur, a Royal Marine, was permanently paralysed from the waist down as a result of a car accident.

In recognition of all the wonderful help and support given to Arthur during his rehabilitation, Vaughan has decided to walk from John O'Groats to Lands End. The journey starts on 23rd April and Vaughan hopes to finish on 18th June. Money raised will be donated to the Midlands Centre for Spinal Inuries at Oswestry and "Spirit" a charity that provides money for spinal injury research.

ALD are delighted to be one of the Corporate Sponsors for Vaughan during his epic journey. Ashley Philpott, our Training Director, has been training with Vaughan and will join him for part of the walk.
