Objectives By the end of the Recruitment and Selection Programme, participants will be able to: Examine recruitment and selection processes taking account of legislation affecting the employee and the workplace Prepare the ground for the introduction of a systematic approach towards recruitment/selection interviews Practice specific techniques of one to one and group interviewing and relate them to work place situations Recognise personal styles and practices of interviewing, building on their strengths and overcoming perceived weaknesses Recognise the importance of the interview situation and the cost to the company of a bad interview in the recruitment process
