NVQ Management

Anyone who has a formal NVQ management qualification can potentially be an asset to any modern business. Management NVQs (National Vocational Qualifications) are aimed at people performing management roles that span all sectors and types of occupational employment.

NVQs in Management, like all other NVQs, are based on a candidate being assessed as competent to perform work-based tasks related to their job role, in this case managing others at their place of work.

To gain an NVQ in management, candidates will have to gather evidence that demonstrates how they meet the national standards for their occupational area. Evidence can come from a range of sources, e.g. from reports on job role, testimony from colleagues, and the assessor seeing the candidate do their job and asking questions. Once these tasks have been completed, the NVQ in management will be quality checked by means of an Internal and External Verifier.
